Is Sergio Prieto’s most personal and poetic collection to date. As a child and young artist, he often heard people say he had “birds in his head”, a phrase meant to suggest he was a dreamer, lost in his own imagination. Today, through this series of paintings, Sergio releases those birds into the world. Each work opens a window into a surreal and dreamlike universe, where different characters and personalities come to life in unexpected settings. Together, these paintings form an intimate portrait of Sergio’s inner world, playful, emotional, and deeply human.
